Our Small Animal Hospital in Heavitree is run by Clinical Director Ed Pattison, supported by experienced veterinary surgeons Eileen Alves, Caroline, Sam Prestwood, Fay Dimaline, Steve Brink, Vivek Shah and Small Mammal and Exotics Specialist Livia Benato. Dedicated teams of experienced nursing and reception staff provide additional support to both patients and clients alike. We have a reputation for being friendly, dedicated and passionate about the care of our client’s pets. We like to develop a close professional relationship with our clients, so that they know and trust us to provide the very best healthcare for their pets.
In 2013 CityVets Heavitree branch moved from its old site to Rosary House, which has been totally refurbished to a very high standard as expected of a large, modern, fully equipped Veterinary Hospital. More recently, the Heavitree branch has seen investment in new state of the art equipment including installation of CT scanner, with an extension consisting of new surgical and hospital facilities.
With staff on site 24 hours a day we can provide the best possible care for your pets. We provide all the routine and non routine services expected of a well-established first opinion practice as well as advanced surgical procedures through Ed Pattison and specialist physiotherapy, Ophthalmology (Eyes), Imaging (X-rays, CT and ultrasound), Exotics (Birds, reptiles and small mammals) and Cardiology (Heart) Services.
We are conveniently situated at the top of Heavitree on a major road into Exeter City centre, with parking on site.

We politely ask our clients not to park in the Catholic Church’s car park. Please park to the side, or directly in front of our building. Thank you for your cooperation

- Saturday: 9am – 12pm
- Sunday: 10.00am- 12pm
CONSULTING TIMES AFTERNOON:
- Monday to Friday: 2pm – 6.15pm
- Saturday: 2pm – 4pm
- Sunday: 2pm- 4pm
