Clinical Director / Veterinary Surgeon

Joey grew up in South Devon, and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. After gaining her postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine in a 24 hour hospital, she became a Clinical Director in the South East, and then took on a regional role. It was in this capacity that her interest in clinical Quality Improvement (QI) became a passion, after seeing the positive impacts that small changes could have on patients and veterinary teams.

Feeling the inevitable draw back to Devon, she made the move back to Exeter, later joining City Vets as Clinical Director in 2026. Outside of work, Joey serves as a trustee for RSPCA Devon, and loves growing veg and exploring the coast and moors with her young family.
