John Gale

John graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1989 and has been working for CityVets for the last 20 years. John works part time at our St Thomas branch. He particular enjoys dentistry as well as routine surgery and always has time for any wildlife that is brought into the surgery. John especially enjoys getting to know clients and helping to keep their pets fit, healthy and well. When John isn’t at the surgery then he will be at home in his studio where he works as a wildlife artist and illustrator. Over the years he has illustrated many bird books and travelled to various regions of the world, including Africa, Madagascar and Asia. He has travelled extensively in search of subject material, visiting Antarctica and the Southern Ocean on many occasions. John lives in Haldon forest with his family and cats, Splat and Nit.
